Biblical Worldview
When it comes to Biblical Worldview, Concord Academy has three simple yet transformational desires for each student:
Authentic Faith: Concord Academy seeks to cultivate hearts impassioned to know and Worship God.
Educational Excellence: Concord Academy seeks to develop minds that are disciplined to think Biblically across all academic disciplines.
Personal Responsibility: Concord Academy seeks to equip hands and hearts that are prepared to be World Changers.
Biblical Worldview is at the foundation, the core, of everything that is done. Bible is taught as a core subject in every grade level. It is our prayer that Biblical principles are not only taught, but they are caught. Therefore, Biblical studies are both inspiring and exciting.
Concord Academy without apology believes in and adheres to the Bible’s explanation of Creation, the Fall, and Redemption. From this perspective truth is learned, applied and trusted through all academic disciplines. Science must point all things created to the Creator. Children must learn to see God and his principles for life in all of creation. History must tell “His Story”. All of history must show the plan of God to usher in His kingdom. Grammar as well as Writing must be taught to educate every child to be able to defend their faith with clarity and expertise. Mathematics must point to the perfection and order of God in all things. It is clear that all of curriculum must be designed and developed to point to God in every academic study.
A Biblical Worldview is the catalyst to the fulfillment of Concord Academy’s goal of giving each student the insulation they need to be a World Changer in God’s Kingdom. It is the strength and fiber that propels each student to allow God to bring the uniqueness of Him through the uniqueness of each…one student at a time!
Spiritual Life
Elementary Chapel
Multiply Kids believes in experiencing God through an exciting, energetic and impactful worship experience. At chapel, children walk through Bible stories, topics and core values to spur each other on to good works and a genuine love for God.
Middle School and High School Chapel
Concord Academy, in partnership with Multiply Youth ministry, is committed to helping students develop in their faith. In our weekly chapel services, students are encouraged in worship and through the communication of the Word. It is our sincere hope, that as we partner with parents, each student will have a personal encounter with a living God.
Service Projects
Service is an important part of a student's time at Concord Academy. We have partnered with I Love My City Projects, Salvation Army, Special Olympics, Cornerfield Market, Wings of Eagles Ranch, Operation Christmas Child, Gate Pregnancy Resource Center, and Meals on Wheels. In addition, each graduating senior is required to complete 18 credit hours of community service.
