"It is the mission of Concord Academy to guide our students in achieving educational excellence in a Christian environment while declaring God's power to the next generation one student at a time."

Our school, as First Assembly Christian School, was founded as a part of the ministry of First Assembly Worship Center in 1976. The school began out of a desire to assist the members of the church in the education of their children.  It was an immediate success and continued to grow.  Until 1988 the school had enrolled approximately 500 students.  The Educational Center was completed in 1988, and the school was relocated to its present location.  Over the years, First Assembly Worship Center has become known throughout our community as cfa (Concord First Assembly).  Continuing a close vital relationship with its home church, First Assembly Christian School became known as cfa Academy in 2013 with the Daycare founded in 1970, becoming part of the “Academy”.  In 2020, cfa Academy was renamed Concord Academy, and continues to serve our community Daycare through 12th grade with over 700 students.

Concord Academy serves a diversified population.  Presently, over 120 churches are represented within the student body.  The students come from the surrounding counties of Cabarrus, Rowan, Iredell, Mecklenburg, Stanly and Union. We also have a growing international community with students from China, Canada, South Korea, Serbia, Nicaragua, Brazil, Spain, Croatia, Mongolia, and the Netherlands. The administration and pastoral leadership believe that encouraging the admission of students from diverse demographics and backgrounds aligns with a strategy for ministering to as many people as possible and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the multitudes.
